Terms of Service

Acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of the Kibbe.ai API, dashboard and documentation (the “service”). By creating an account, generating an API key or calling the API, you agree to these terms for yourself and, if you sign up on behalf of an organization, for that organization.

The service

Kibbe.ai provides fashion data as an API: attribute tagging for product images, visual and text search, similar-item matching, body-type fit across the 13 Kibbe image IDs, and trend signals. See our Data Sourcing page for how the underlying index is built.

Outputs are generated by machine-learning models and are provided to help you build products, not as a guarantee. Attributes, fit scores and trend signals may be incomplete or wrong — review them before relying on them for decisions with material impact.

Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secret and for all activity under them. Don’t embed live keys in client-side code. If a key is exposed, revoke it in the dashboard straight away.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  Resell, sublicense or redistribute raw API responses as a standalone dataset or competing API.

  Use the service to identify, profile or make decisions about specific individuals from their images.

  Send content you don’t have the rights to process, or content that is unlawful.

  Exceed or circumvent rate limits, or attempt to access another organization’s data or keys.

  Reverse-engineer the models, or use outputs to train a model that competes with Kibbe.ai.

Customer data

Images, catalogs and other content you send to the API remain yours. Our processing of it is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

Kibbe.ai owns the service, models, attribute schema and fashion index. You own your content and, subject to these terms, may use the outputs you receive in your own products.

Fees and billing

Free-tier usage is limited as described in the dashboard. Paid plans are billed on usage or as set out in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and we may suspend keys for unpaid invoices after notice.

Service levels and changes

We aim for high availability and publish status at status.kibbe.ai. Breaking API changes are released as a new version with at least 12 months of overlap; additive changes may ship at any time.

Termination

Either party may terminate as set out in your order form or, where none applies, with notice. On termination your keys stop working and we delete your uploaded catalogs as described in the DPA.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Kibbe.ai’s total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will update the effective date and notify account owners in advance.
